Governor Josh Shapiro’s administration has once again tipped its hand in favor of bureaucratic overreach and globalist agendas.
Under the guise of "monitoring energy use" for artificial intelligence and data centers, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) has begun laying the groundwork for yet another layer of crony influence. And let's not kid ourselves—this has nothing to do with energy “efficiency” or “sustainability.” It’s about dominion.
This directive isn’t about climate. It’s about consolidating technocratic authority—one carbon quota at a time.
Climate Rhetoric as a Cover for Control
The so-called green transition is not grassroots, despite the many naive foot soldiers unknowingly carrying water for it. It’s a top-down, authoritarian blueprint promoted by the same elite global networks that have long championed managed Western economic decline under the banner of progress. Shapiro's policy aligns directly with the vision of the Open Society Foundation, World Economic Forum, and UN-aligned governance-by-algorithm that overrides the consent of the governed by bureaucratic metric-driven edicts.
We've since learned that much of the movement’s so-called support is not organic at all—but financed through the laundering of hundreds of billions of dollars via international NGOs, manufacturing an AstroTurf illusion of grassroots legitimacy. The PUC's move to track private energy use—especially from the tech and data sectors—is an early phase of the globalist playbook. Step one: collect the data. Step two: impose the metrics. Step three: issue rationing edicts, enforce carbon quotas, and punish dissenting industries under the banner of “climate justice.”
Make no mistake: the Green Socialist movement isn’t interested in clean air. It wants to reorder society—centralizing power, eroding sovereignty, and transferring decision-making from elected officials to international bureaucrats, corporate “stakeholders,” and unelected regulators.
It’s not about the planet. It’s about the plan.
Crony Green Capital + State Power = Economic Serfdom

Under this model, private capital and state coercion merge into a hybrid system of eco-fascism: ESG enforcement, DEI compliance, carbon scoring, and AI censorship. And while politicians like Shapiro posture as protectors of the earth, what they’re really doing is building an economic choke collar for Pennsylvania’s future.
Data centers today. Bitcoin miners, gun manufacturers, independent farmers, churches refusing COVID-like shutdowns, and critics of the regime tomorrow.
The same alliance that wants to ban your gas stove and monitor your thermostat now wants to dictate who can use electricity and how much—and for what purpose. This is the next step in their long march through the institutions. They can't quite nationalize energy, so they’re further incrementalizing control over it instead.
A technocracy dressed in green is still tyranny.
The Libertarian Counterstrike: Four Moves Toward Freedom
Limit the PUC to Its Proper Domain -- While we would rather it be eliminated entirely and handed over a genuinely free market, the PUC should regulate only monopoly utilities—not private businesses. Data centers don’t belong on their radar.
Constitutionalize Energy Freedom in Pennsylvania -- No agency, politician, or special interest movement should be able to restrict energy access or usage without due process and public consent.
Ban ESG and International Compliance Metrics in State Policy - - Pennsylvania law should be written in Harrisburg—not Davos. Eliminate all influence from corrupted NGO-financed, AstroTurf green non-profits.
Deregulate and Decentralize the Grid -- Let innovation flourish. Support modern nuclear, microgrid, private solar, and voluntary markets in energy—free of red tape and political interference.

This is More Than Policy. It’s a Power Struggle.
The green technocrats want a world where your freedom depends on your carbon score, your social views, and your usefulness to the regime. That future has already arrived in Europe—and now they want to export it here.
We say no.
We reject the Shapiro administration’s playbook of climate coercion, Open Society dogma, and WEF-style technocracy. We reject a world where liberty must kneel before sustainability reports and AI regulators.
Energy is life. Data is power. And liberty is non-negotiable.
If you agree, then stand with us. Because the fight isn’t just about energy policy—it’s about who owns the future.
Live free—or plug into the grid of global control. The choice is yours.
