1. Libertarian Party of Allegheny County Meeting August 21 , 2019 Board Members in Attendance David V. (Chair), David S. (Vice Chair), Josh (Secretary), John (Treasurer), Bill, Bruce, Harold , Henry (At - Large) ; Quorum Reached Political Committee (Josh, Bill , Harold): We reached out to Libertarians across the county in an attempt to field m ore candidates to no avail. Lisa Middleman ’ s campa ign reached out about a doing joint fundraising/outreach. Josh will stay in communication with the campaign to assure that this happens and that we can re ach registered Libertarians while spending as little as possible. This would also work as outreach in contacting Libertarians and building awareness while promoting Lisa ’ s campaign. We can send rack cards and emails or make phone calls. Communications ( David S., Bill, Bruce): We have dispersed all of t he official email addresses to the relevant board members. Bruce put up a blog post about the Lisa Middleman campaign. David S. is going to seek out pricing for the design and we can then potentially post on the site to sell. IT (Bruce, David S. ): We are now accepting donations via PayPal on the website thanks to the new bank account. Josh tried out his Secretary email address and others will soon try theirs to send out official correspondence. Outreach (John , Josh ): We had multiple members at Lisa Middleman ’ s kickoff and got to network. David S. will continue to research possible social events, and has recommended a gun range event. This could work, but we would need a location and figures. We are having a Liberty on the Rocks on August 29. Finance (John): John dispersed $12.19 for the mailbox. We sit at $2,637.84 in the general fund. Fundraising (David V., Henry): Davi d V. wants to buy growlers wit h the Libertarian logo for sale at state activities as a source of revenue . We thought this to be a good idea. He will research designs and feasibility, considering attendance to the state event and report back with a budge t. David V. will also continue to res earch possible venues for the state convention next year. Motions: none Next Meeting: September 18 , 2019
